The insane rogue state of israel seems hell-bent on creating more war, and war negatively impacts the environment. US journalists have been a pretty pathetic bunch ever since media companies consolidated over the past 25 years and news departments became answerable to entertainment chiefs. The mainstream media in the US is basically a joke - to wit the response to the murderous and criminal israeli attack on the humanitarian Gaza flotilla: very little coverage, heavy tilt toward official israeli talking points and spokespeople, and very little real pressure on the White House.
